Cleaning

What method do you use to clean carpet?
We currently utilize the hot water extraction method for carpet cleaning.

What treatment is required to bring my floors back to life?
To help floors shine like new, the floors need to be stripped to remove the old wax then 3 to 4 coats of new wax applied. In order to maintain the new shine, floors need to be mopped with neutral cleaner on a daily basis. Depending on foot traffic,  floors will have to be spray buffed on a regular basis.

What can we use to remove corrosion around stools, sinks & water fountains?
We use great “green” and eco-friendly/safe products that will remove rust and corrosion around stools, sinks, and drinking fountains.

Will you provide cleaning supplies and where do you purchase them?
Yes, we provide all cleaning supplies. We purchase our supplies through a distributor who represents Eco Concepts Inc.

Can you provide references?
References can be provided upon request.

Are you insured and bonded?
We are fully insured and bonded.

General

How often do you clean a facility?
We determine how often we clean a facility based on the clients request and cleaning needs. Typically, a larger facility with high traffic requires cleaning a minimum of three days a week upward to five days a week.

When providing a free quote, we also recommend to the client a cleaning maintenance program that includes how often the facility should be cleaned to meet appropriate building standards.

What is the cost?
Cleaning costs are determined by a number of variables that we provide with our bid submission. Costs for carpet cleaning and floor care are determined by price per square footage

What products do you use?
Father & Son’s Cleaning takes particular care in selecting cleaning products and janitorial supplies. We recognize the right commercial cleaning supplies and products determines how efficient and effective we are as a commercial cleaning company.

We are constantly evaluating our green cleaning processes, with a focus on the use of safe and environmentally friendly products. At multiple client sites, microfiber cleaning systems are now in place to better enhance a clean, germ free workplace. Father & Sons Cleaning will continue to emphasize the importance of being green to current and potential clients and work with suppliers who offer eco-friendly products and support green cleaning initiatives.

How are your employees screened and trained?
All of our employees are required to fill out an application and submit three references. For some accounts, employees are also required to pass a background and criminal check as a prerequisite for being hired.

All employees are trained and supervised on an individual basis for each account. A focus on excellent customer service is emphasized along with personal attention to detail.

Will I know who has access to my building?
The client will be provided with the names of staff members cleaning the building. Employees are also required to wear name badges.

Will you come on an emergency basis?
We are available on an emergency basis; clients are given the contact information of staff to call if an emergency situation occurs.

How are you different from other commercial cleaning services?
Father & Sons Cleaning has been a successful company for over 40 years by consistently exceeding the needs of our clients. We differentiate ourselves from competitors by focusing on an owner/operator approach that is truly hands on, experienced and highly committed.
We develop cleaning programs specific to the needs of each facility we service; employees are also trained and supervised on an individual basis for each account.

Will you clean a small facility?
Yes, we’re happy to provide a free quote and will service a small facility.

Is a long-term contract required?
Length of contract terms are determined as part of the final bid process. Our preference is to meet the need of the client as it relates to length of contract.
